Marc Ferguson
Founder and President, Nets to Ladders and Onesta Labs
Marc oversees the executive management of both Nets to Ladders and Onesta Labs. He has over 20 year of experience in
business process innovation (BPI), including introducing dramatically new business processes to a wide range of industry
segments. In 1994, Marc became one of Austin's early Internet entrepreneurs as founder of Cofiniti, a pioneer of collaborative
Web-based wealth management and supply chain management solution for the financial services industry. He guided the company as
CEO and Chairman during its early years, raising over $40 million in venture capital as Cofiniti grew to 149 employees and $9
million in annual revenues by 2000.
Marc left Cofiniti in 2000 to assist Eltekon in establishing a private equity fund for minority-owned businesses.
After completing the Eltekon project, he was recruited by Cofiniti lenders to help the company emerge from the high-tech
industry's financial downturn. He founded Onesta Labs in 2003 to assume Cofiniti's contractual obligations and provide business
process innovation for collaborative efforts between private and public organizations. In early 2006, Marc founded Nets to
Ladders as the parent organization of Onesta Labs to add professional services to the existing business process technology,
including training, field coordination, product distribution, and consulting. Today Marc is helping guide the development of
several unique BPI projects, including the Benefits Enrollment Network, the first Web-based benefits process management
software as a service (SaaS).
Prior to founding Cofiniti, Marc managed a ten-state, $300 million sales region for financial services marketing firm,
Essex Corporation. Before that position, he established a bank securities brokerage subsidiary for Capitol Federal Savings.
