IRS-trained volunteers are helping low-income families address other financial needs with a program that makes it easier to open bank accounts and apply for human service benefits — thanks to BEN’s Web-based SavingsPoint and Benefits Enrollment services.

Staples, the world's largest office products company, just launched a first-of-its-kind employee benefits assistance program to do even more for its low- and moderate-income workers. The pilot program, which started February 1st, 2007, leverages BEN's web-based software capabilites to deliver three benefit support services.
